Weather: The sunniest of Sunny days is when this spunky pokemon roams about. You'd never have any luck finding one on a rainy day.
Time: This pokemon sure enjoys sleeping in. Kouen don't start appearing till noon and the afternoon and eventually goes back to bed when the sun sets.
Habitat: Kouen normally inhabit open plains with other pokemon such as Growlithe and Rapidash. During the colder seasons they prefer to huddle close to rather warm areas where other fire types are not hard to come by like Volcanoes. It's not uncommon for them to be lounging in urban areas as well.
Habits: Kouen is a very social pokemon that if it lacks attention it will demand it. It's tail of flame can even burn through steel and other various metals and rocks, Many use this method to make shelter by hollowing out rocks into a home, especially when the move to volcanic areas in the winter time.
Apearence or picture: Kouen have signature orange colored fur covering the majority of its small body. It's built much like a bulky small dog. The muzzle and underbelly are stained in a beige color. Kouen have long pointy hears and a large nose for hunting and sensing danger. Atop of the ears ar small flames used to scare off potential enemies when first met by alluminating their face and growling. Kouen trademark is the large flame for a tail used for a variety of things in their daily life.
